Erwin und Luzia Jutzet-Häller
Erwin Jutzet was a representative of the canton Freiburg in the National Council from 1995 to 2006. Since 2007 he has held a seat in the Freiburg government. His wife, Luzia Jutzet-Häller, completed her education as a Secondary School teacher. The couple currently live in Schmitten and has four children. As of 2013, they also become very proud, and patient grandparents.

Otto Piller is a qualified Physicist. From 1979 et 1995 he was on the Swiss Council of States and just missed out been elected to the Federal Council in 1995, when he was closely defeated by Moritz Leuenberger. He currently lives in Alterswil and has recently written a book describing his youth and the time he spent in Sensebezirk.

Ruth Lüthi was elected to the Grand County Council of Freiburg in 1988. From 1991 to 2006 she was responsible for the Department of Health and Social Affairs within the Freiburg Government. As an experienced politician Ruth Lüthi is a much respected and sought-after resource for public office. In 2007 the Federal Council appointed her as the President of the Federal AHV/IV Commission.
